2023

  • GF Piping Systems, a division of GF, announces the acquisition of 51% in Corys Piping Systems LLC. 

2022

  • CORYS Piping Systems is established in order to better manage the business under one unique umbrella company with all leading regional brands, including Hepworth, Dacta, GF & Wavin.

2020

  • EGFCO, Egypt Gas GF-GF Corys, a pipes and fittings manufacturing joint venture in Egypt.

    2018

    • State of the art manufacturing factory opened in Sultanate of Oman.

    2015

    • Corys Packaging is established to consolidate the strengths of both Kangaroo Plastics and Emirates Technopack.

    2014

    • Green Coast Enterprises established Corys Building Materials LLC to manage all of its construction and building materials businesses. At the same time, the new subsidiaries Corys Geosynthetics LLC and Corys Build Centre LLC were established to manage the geosynthetics and retail businesses respectively.

    2013

    • Transfer of the Geomembrane business from Kangaroo Plastics PME to Hepworth PME.

        2012

        • Green Coast Investments was established to manage the Group’s existing market investments.

          2009

          • Kangaroo Plastics (PME) LLC included Geomembrane to their existing range of products.

          2006

          • Abdul Ghaffar Hussain Trading LLC was established in Oman.

          2004

          • Hepworth WLL was established in Bahrain.

          2003

          • Emirates Technopack, a specialized packaging company, was launched.

          2001

          • Hepworth PME established a manufacturing joint venture in Qatar.

          1993

          • The Real Estate arm of the Group was launched.

            1991

            • Hepworth PME opened its state of the art factory in Nad al Hamar.

            1977

            • Abdul Ghaffar Hussain established Green Coast Enterprises to consolidate his various industrial holdings.
            • Hepworth PME was established as a manufacturer and supplier of piping systems.

                  1976

                  • Kangaroo Plastics, one of the region’s first flexible packaging companies, was launched.

                    1975

                    • The first Jotun factory in the Middle East opened in Dubai.

                      1973

                      • Abdul Ghaffar Hussain established a relationship with Jotun of Norway.
