Delivery Planning Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE

To fulfil the booked sales orders on-time, keep order book clean by mirroring voice of customer in ERP. Act as single window for customers post sales order booking for all queries.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensure orders are delivered to customers as per schedule.
  • Reservation and picking of available stocks after confirmation with the customer. Bronze reserved stock must be followed up aggressively for delivery. Unreserve the Gold and silver stock within a week if customer need is postponed.
  • Update customers with estimated and actual delivery status.
  • Update the customer scheduled ship dates in system on regular basis to help planning for replenishment. Maintain the various buckets of order status like call off, request for cancellation, current horizon etc.
  • Coordinate with credit control and maintain the record of orders not released but required by customer.
  • Coordinate with planning and warehouse for delivery status related queries. Act as single window for customer post sales order booking.
  • Coordinate with logistics to prioritize the pick slip. Ensure the contact information, location is updated in ERP and reflected in pick-slips.
  • Ensure minimum returns of delivery due to customer rejection due to call off or site not ready reasons.
  • Provides data for MIS reports to be submitted for management review.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

  • Graduate with at least 2 years’ experience in delivery planning / logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Good reporting skills.
  • Good communication skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
